One can say this is the only game in town, Hawaii Kai town that is, for dim sum and that would be true. But it's got a great offering of dishes for dim sum fans, so when you get the craving, no need to travel into town for a delicious brunch. None of the traditional food carts are moving around ...

I have only been here a couple of times and enjoyed my meals both times. The food was good and was prepared close to authentic Thai food. The staff was very nice and friendly. The only negative point from me is the portions are short of par. But I would recommend this restaurant to others despite the portions.Popular withFoodiesBudgetBusiness

Not the world's greatest ramen but it's super cheap (a combo is only $8.95!) and it's quite nice and clean inside, a rarity for ramen joints in Hawaii, unfortunately.Popular withBudgetFamiliesStudents

Where to start this review...Lets start with the best thing about it...THE VIEW & LOCATION...It's right on the Hawaii Kai Marina and any business with that kind of view has a great start under their belt. That being said...They don't do much with that view. I give everyone the 3 STIRKES RULE and it took my 5 VISITS to get ...

For some no nonsense burgers and fries, The Shack is the spot to be. Couple this with a fantastic location where you can sit just feet from the blue waters of the Hawaii Kai Marina and gaze upon Koko Head Crater and you've got a fun, casual place to hang out. The portions are generous and tasty. My favorites consist ...Popular withNightlifeAdventureFoodies

Sushi can indeed be found in Hawaii Kai and a pleasant experience can be enjoyed at Hana Sushi. This shop has only been open a rather short time, but appears to be gaining a following. While they offer the conveyor belt approach of selecting your sushi, the past couple of times I found the belt pretty void of a substantial ...

Here's a good shop to get your fix of Mexican food and drink in Hawaii Kai. A large menu of choices and reasonable portions will keep you satisfied. I've only been here for lunch, but they offer a breakfast menu on the weekends. The biggest draw for me is the location; there are a number of outdoor tables in the ...

Get your fix of Vietnamese Pho in Hawaii Kai at Pho 777. Tucked inconspicuously in between Pizza Hut and The Shack, this small shop has the full complement of Vietnamese faire. I tried the shredded pork and meat loaf, my mom ordered beef balls pho... I enjoyed my dish, but I thought the pork portion was a bit small. The ...

From the first time I discovered this neighborhood treasure when I use to live in Waimanalo ; my husband and I always try to make our way to the opposite side of the island to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at this popular establishment. One of those only-if-you-know-about-it local spots, this shave ice shop is super-friendly and just off the highway between Waikiki / Diamond Head and Hawaii Kai / Hanauma Bay. Homemade fruit and candy syrups totally put it over the top.Popular withBudgetLocalFamilies
