I belong here and support it. It's a great Museum amid they are constantly running different exhibitions. Some I love...some to avant garde for me. The collection includes a lot f great Pop Art and works by the greats. They also run a film series. Recently they ran all the James Bond flicks which was awesome. When it's nice out check out the sculpture garden

Since my New York trip the MoMA is one of my favourite museums for art!
If you are interested in art you really HAVE TO go there anyway.

great way to pass a few hours in Manhattan, it's a beautiful museum which gives a good look on art from the beginning of the 1900s till today, and even I, who's not so keen about art in general, enjoyed it thoroughly. The only thing missing from the art collection, was graffiti.
Great for going with kids.
I'll definitely come back next time.Recommended for:Family Travelers

MoMA is one of my top five favorite museums in NYC. If you love paintings and other creative pieces of modern art then you will definitely enjoy visiting MoMA. I encourage you to plan at least 3 to 4 hours for browsing. The museum is fairly large but they have a couple nice "pit stop" cafes that will revitalize your body during the art expedition.

This is one of the greatest modern art museums in the world and a must visit for an art lover. The building is well designed for easy viewing. It also houses an excellent restaurant and bar, The Modern. In the building and across the street are a lot of cool modern designed things to buy, everything from household items to jewellery.

MOMA is a fun museum to visit - showcasing modern art of all kinds, it always has something unusual and unexpected for you to see. The museum is huge, so start with the areas that you are most interested in. My favorite part is the Sculpture Garden – take a break from the galleries inside and stroll through this small garden and enjoy the sculptures. The inside of the building itself (after redesign a few years ago) is quite interesting, the galleries are spacious. Don’t miss their gift shop on your way out – it’s like a mini-museum in itself.

The NY MoMA is an impressive collection of modern art. It was here that I began developing an appreciation for post-19th century art, previously preferring classical works. It's easy to spend a whole day here, as there are several vast levels to explore.
Check the website for free days. You'll be with a crowd of people, but that's fun too.

the smartest way to enjoy this museum is to first select the areas you are most interested in order to save time. but if you have some time to spare, start from the ground and work your way to special installations.
