that one is moving uphill when, in fact, one is moving downhill. Many attractions have popped up around Magnetic Hill, including the city zoo and a few amusement parks. Moncton’s harbor is home to a unique tidal bore phenomenon, though it has lost most of its effect due to waterway development. Nearby Parlee beach boasts the warmest water in Canada, though that isn’t saying much. The nearby Bay of Fundy has some of the highest tides in the world, and walking in it a low tide is an interesting experience as one can literally walk around the base of islands on what is half the time the sea floor.
