Great music venue, especially if you get VIP treatment! I saw Cults here last week and I had an amazing view from the center of the upper balcony. The drinks were strong, the food was tasty, and the music was fantastic!

Classic bar for a classic night out in LA! Overlooking the entire city with lights lit up like a dream, right under you- it can feel magical! The layout can be a bit much as you find yourself praying not to fall (mysteriously) in the pool, but the very best in the summertime!!!!!

Came here for a movie screening. PARKING: They have their own parking. Depending on the event - you may need to pay for it. I was told it was about $15. Not too sure. Don't quote me. I got to go in for free because the screening made it available for free parking for guests/media. Remember where you park - ...

Last night, I went to the Improv in Hollywood for the first time. I had been to the Laugh Factory several times, the Brea Improv, etc. I had a good experience. Their drink service was pretty fast. The restrooms were conveniently located and close to the stage. It was all on one level, so this made it a little smaller ...

The little shops feature big prices and attract celebs, as well as residents of the posh neighborhoods to the west. Armani A/X, ...

I actually had a pretty good time at the Roxy. I liked the layout of the venue. More seating available than I thought there would be. It wasn't too packed when we got there so we got to stand right in front of the stage. The parking here is expensive ($15) so I recommend finding street parking. I don't remember ...

Mickey's is an institution! I have been coming here for years. So great if you just want to dance and have fun. The lines are ridiculous on weekends so go a bit earlier to avoid them.

One of our favorite LA haunts, formerly part of "the Sunset trinity" (Spago and Tower). Lots of local interest and history titles, and an inordinate number of giant coffeetable collections. Sadly noted during our most recent visit: Lots of employee activity, no sales; and our browsing patience ran thin much faster than before.

This is a pretty fun bar. What really makes it fun is the foosball table and shuffleboard you can play, which makes nice for groups. They focus on beers and have a huge selection. You can bring your own food in, which is cool. Overall it's a pretty chill bar without the "fratiness" that seems to come with laid back.
