Attractive hotel with a great location on Crosby. Rooms are nice and can be great value. Only downside here is that staff / service are very hit or miss and tend toward surly.Recommended for:

Great restaurant in the front of the hotel, has a moroccan/fairy tale/alice in wonderland theme. Lots of pretty glass vases and flowers. The food is good however the portions are very small. I would come here for drinks with friends over dinner next time.

The hotel of ultimate fantasy and elements of modernism and romanticism. A beautiful escape in the urban jungle.
The restaurant Isola Trattoria is lovely, Soaked in the summer is the perfect rooftop juice bar, and Mister H is sophisticated and relevant.

I would come to the Mondrian Soho for dinner and rinks. Like many of the Morgans Hotel Group's other properties, the restaurant & bar are fantastic with quality food and drinks. If you're coming to stay, then you'll feel trapped as many of the rooms are on the small side, also standard with MHG properties. If you do stay here, make sure you upgrade to a superior or deluxe room so that you can at least walk around!

Seems like when conceiving this hotel the primary focus was on the bar and lobby, and the rooms were a bit of an afterthought. This hotel is stylish, catering to a fashionable clientele. The rooms a beautifully done, but tiny (about half the size of the W Downtown). The beds are very comfortable, but the water pressure in the shower was a bit lackluster. All in all not worth the price tag in my opinion. You can stay elsewhere and come here for drinks.Recommended for:

Stay here to feel like a VIP rock star. Sadly AirBnB is closer to my budget, but the bf got a great deal on Orbitz and upon arrival because our room was not ready we asked if we'd mind being "upgraded" to the Deluxe Suite, overlooking the city, WiFi, plasma tv and an Ipad docking station.
In NY, location is everything and it doesn't get much better than SoHo. Good walking distance to nearby cafes, galleries, bars, and the subway. We were staying here for a wedding and brought back the entire party to our swank hotel bar.
