The food at this place is over the top! Everything is fresh and locally grown. They have the largest beer on tap in the state (around 32 kinds) The atmosphere is awesome! They have live music every night. It is frequented by stars such as Steven Tyler. Come on down and check it out. You will love it!

Largest selection of beers on tap and an excellent wine list curated by sommelier Jason Vendrell. They have wine from Peju, one of my favorite vineyards in Napa. Food is ok but the drinks and atmosphere make this a great spot in Wailea.

One of the newest additions to Maui’s dining scene, this spot is located just off Pi’ilani Highway and offers views of Wailea below. With an emphasis on regional cuisine, this is a great place for seafood pupus, garden-fresh salads made with local produce, wood-fired pizzas with house-made crust, and indulgent side dishes and desserts.

This is my new favorite spot in South Maui for appetizers, especially during happy hour. The food is excellent and ½ price. The beer selection is one of the best on the island and the wine and drinks are very good as well. However, the main reason we love to come here is for the music. Very good local talent!

Happy hour at Monkeypod Kitchen is a great deal. Half off non-seafood appetizers, $8 craft cocktails (shown here: Makawao Ave & Monkeypod Mai Tai), and $9 wood-fire pizzas like Hamakua Mushroom with Truffle Oil. Live music and views of the sun setting over the ocean.

First time visit tonight. Happy hour is a great deal! Our group enjoyed the rock shrimp and calamari, ceaser salad, various pizza's, the spinach and quinoa salad and then banana creme pie and a chocolate salted caramel creme pie! Hmmm, that sounds like a lot of food... Lol. The only drawback was all of the flies we had to deal with by sitting outside.

Flavorful, sustainable, organic and most importantly tasty. Great spot in a mini strip mall with live music. Quenches the thirst and satisfies the hunger. Killer drinks (monkeypod Mai tai with lilikoi foam) and killer view of sunset if you get the right table outside
