    The Crow's Nest Restaurant

    22 reviews

Walking into the front door of this waterfront institution, you know you've landed somewhere good in an old school sort of way. The place is bustling with people. It's a big space, set right on the harbor, but every table was full by 5:30 pm. Food is primarily seafood. The calamari starter was much better than expected - fresh and ...

    Marianne's Ice Cream

A legendary ice cream shop above all others. The flavors here are miraculous, the choices endless and the prices good. I make a point to stop here every time I'm in Santa Cruz, no questions about it.

    Old Fisherman's Grotto

    17 reviews

Amazing clam chowder (probably the best I've ever had), and a good selection of entrees. The views of the harbor from the Grotto are some of the best on the wharf, and the service is always excellent. One of their nice touches is that at the end of the night every lady get's a single rose.

    The Penny Ice Creamery

Delicious ice cream. Daily selection is limited so need to go with the flow. A memorable favorite of mine is their barley ice cream as I was surprised by how good it was. After waiting in the long line outside you deserve a double scoop!

    Passionfish

    15 reviews

Top notch seafood restaurant. I can't say enough good things about Passionfish with it's 100% sustainable seafood menu and seemingly limitless wine selection.. They follow (to the letter) recommendations from the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch Program - http://www.montereybayaquarium.org/cr/seafoodwatch.aspx - yet serve up their selections with innovation and flare enough to appease the most critical of foodies. One word of ...

Owned by Clint Eastwood the ranch is great for outdoor dining and just around the corner. Sometimes when staying at our property guests have seen the owner at dinner time.

    Duarte's Tavern

    14 reviews

Good food, good location. The wait can be over a hour. Fortunately, they do take reservations. Holds a special place in my heart as this was the first restaurant I took my daughter to, just the two of us. At about 18 months old she was the perfect little lady. Had a great day. There is a fantastic goat cheese ...

There are 3 Betty locations and all of them are equally wonderful! They make classic burgers with lots of fun options, bacon, various cheeses and even chicken burgers. Which is my ULTIMATE fav. crave. They marinate the chicken in something amazing and I want the reciepe ! Dont even think about going here and not ordering the sweet potato fries, ...

    Kelly's French Bakery

    8 reviews

This is a popular little place to drop in for pastries, sandwiches and even entrees. On a nice day the patio is the place to eat as seating inside is a bit limited. Be prepared to wait in a line to order, but also plan to have fun and enjoy your meal!
