    Toque!

    4.5
    5 reviews

Toque is a classical French restaurant with a very fine-tuned, refined menu that showcases only the highest quality produce and product. With their high attention to detail, it is no surprise that their prices are high. I recommend only making a visit here if you have a habit for the finer things in life or, as in my case, a ...

Olive et Gourmando is one of the best lunch spots in Montreal and very popular so keep that mind if you are planning to stop by during peak lunch hours. The food here is delicious with a handful of sandwiches and salads on the menu all created with really fresh produce. The items are approachable and straight-forward and all well ...

    Restaurant Garde-Manger Inc

Grande Manger is a lovely restaurant that is packed any night of the week. I like that the restaurant is cozy without feeling intimate and has a lot of energy and character. On my two visits, I sat at the bar alongside other lone diners that were also in Montreal on work. The food is delicious and it starts off ...

No matter what time of day you visit Schwartz there is always a line of people waiting to be seated. And for good reason! This place has some of Montreal's best smoked meat sandwiches. These award winning sandwiches are worth the wait, and are so loved by the community that they even created a musical about this place. When you ...

    au pied de cochon

I was travelling on business so I sat at the bar by myself - not at all a bad choice! The kitchen is so interesting to watch, Michelle at the bar was very sweet and nice to talk to, and the food was amazing. I ended up going back again! My favorites were the poutine with foie gras, french onion ...

3927 Rue Saint-Denis. One of my favorite restaurants, probably the most, and one that's wonderful and familiar. The decor is bistro chic and the atmosphere fun, and the plates are delectable. The bone marrow I recommend and the steak et frites and the lemon tart, but the chef's specials are always pleasing.

    Ferreira

    5 reviews

Ferreira is in the top 5 best restaurants in Montreal in my opinion. Everything is great about this place... except maybe when they bring the check. But it doesn't really matter, because the food is so fresh and exquisite that it's worth it.

    Holder Restaurant Bar

Laura and I had dinner here (in the bar) one evening in the winter of 2011. Every single dish we were served was simple, classic, and memorable. It was simply the best meal we've had in two or three years.

    Milos

Wow there is a reason this place is so popular. Immediately as you walk in there is a giant lobster tank. Then in front of the kitchen there is a pile of ice with fish and vegetables that are continually misted as you dine. The real standouts for me were the fried zucchini chip appetizer and a steamed white fish. ...

    Sumo Ramen

I'm always on the hunt for delicious Japanese foodz, whether it's in my home cities - Boston and Montreal or when I'm on a day trip to New York City, or touring through the West Coast; though I'm quite satisfied with my sushi and yakitori finds, I always felt a lack of great ramen-ness in my Japanese food experience. Though ...

    Le Club Chasse et Pêche

    5
    3 reviews

Le Club Chasse et Peche (literally, The Hunting and Fishing Club) is like a secret Speak Easy of yesteryear, with only a sign with their emblem and a street address, with no name announcing what lays inside the unassuming Tudor styled facade on the bottom floor of a multi-story building in old Montreal, not far from city hall. And like ...

    Buonanotte

    4 reviews

The Saint Laurent street corridor has a host of restaurants of all types, particularly clustered around the Complexe Ex-Centris shopping mall. Most of the restaurants have a polished feel, nearly all with candle lights on every table in a darkened setting, in contemporary designs and decent service. Buona Notte (Good Evening/Night in Italian) is right in the thick of this, ...

This restaurant is talked about in almost every travel guide of Montreal. It's poutine is supposed to be some of the best in the city. It didn't disappoint. It was delicious, with the perfect amount of crisp in the fries, saltiness of the gravy, and cheese curds! They have several different types of poutine and offer beer pairing suggestions for ...
