    La Banquise Resto

994 Rachel Est, Montreal, QC H2J 2J5, Canada
    15 reviews

Arguably the best poutine in town. They serve a ridiculous large number of poutine varieties. They open late so it's always a after drinks place to go.

    Patati Patata

    4177 St-Laurent Boulevard, Montreal, QC H2W Canada
    3 reviews

Great slider burgers for $2.50! Their poutine is also amazing. Just be aware that there is normally a long time and the place is quite small.

    Restaurant Chez Victoire

    1453, av du Mont-Royal E, Montreal, QC H2J 1Z1, Canada
    2 reviews

Noisy and full bar with the capability to host a nice date night as well. The food is beautifully executed, with flavoured mousses stealing center stage and perfectly-presented liver, if that's your thing. For the poor but still looking for luxury among us, their limited after-ten menu is excellent, with two courses for $25.

    St-Viateur Bagel

263 Saint Viateur Street West, Montreal, QC H2V 1Y1, Canada
    15 reviews

Really good bagels! Can't go wrong with St-Viateur. It is very similar to Fairmont bagels, but if I had to choose, I would say St-Viateur wins by a hair. They also open 24 hours, for your midnight bagel cravings.

    Rotisserie Romados

115, Rue Rachel Est, Montreal, QC H2W 1C8, Canada
    11 reviews

I never thought I would compliment a 'fast food' joint's chicken this way - juici-cious, tender, flavorful with a mesmorizing chili sauce to die for. This is the place to go for Portuguese chicken in Montreal, the place has gotten quite the following, the never ending line that goes straight out the door right up to closing time is evidence ...

Biggest competitor to St-Viateur bagels. Just as good! Definitely try both of them and decide for yourself who wins. They are extremely close!

    1862 Sainte-Catherine Street West, Montreal, QC H3H 1M1, Canada
    1 review

Tiny intimate place but the food is exquisite! On a whole new level from many of the other restaurants I've tried. They only serve Japanese dishes, no sashimi and sushi. (Although they do serve tartare) Every one of the dishes is cooked to perfection. Threat yourself to an unique shrimp burger or the amazingly tender tuna belly. Yes you would ...

    Juliette et Chocolat

    1626 St-Catherine W.

A place for romantic evening of sweet treats (and talks), casual hot-chocolating with friends, and oh my goodness, a place to experience complete chocolate overload. I've been hearing about this place for such a long time and have walked past quite a few of its stores on other streets. This time, we finished a meal at Kazu quite close by ...

    Restaurant Deli Plus

7690 Avenue Papineau, Montreal, QC H2E, Canada
    1 review

This little joint is within close proximity and we got the poutine with smoked meat and a club sandwich to go. It's actually quite delicious. The potato is fresh and soft, the gravy is mild and well seasoned, it tastes light and yummy. The club sandwich with 3 layers of bread, bacon, lettuce, tomato and light chicken is also quite ...

    Sumo Ramen

    1007 Boulevard Saint-Laurent, Montreal, QC H2Z 1J4, Canada
    8 reviews

I'm always on the hunt for delicious Japanese foodz, whether it's in my home cities - Boston and Montreal or when I'm on a day trip to New York City, or touring through the West Coast; though I'm quite satisfied with my sushi and yakitori finds, I always felt a lack of great ramen-ness in my Japanese food experience. Though ...

Definitely a nightclub for the younger crowd. Very "lounge-y" music with some R&B hits. Was the most popular night club the night I went

    Schwartz's Delicatessen

3895 St Laurent Blvd, Montreal, QC H2W Canada
    27 reviews

This is a must eat in Montreal! If you like Kat'z in New York, then you will also like this. I actually prefer this over Kat'z. The meat is fattier and much tastier in my opinion. Don't bother line up for the restaurant unless you are dying to sit down. Next door does take away sandwiches, and it MUCH quicker.
