Pleasant town with a nice chateau and pretty views of the Loire. The historic center is a great place to wonder and enjoy a stop for a coffee, crepe, glass of wine (or all of the above).

Lovely scenery and the perfect spot for tasting the local wine -- Vouvray. A nice break from chateaux and Vouvray is far superior than what you will find in Chinon.

Cute town with a nice historic center. The perfect place for exploring nearby vineyards. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a good Chinon. Wine lovers will prefer Vouvray -- unless you are a die hard fan of reds.

Charming old town, with Monuments, Museums, the Town Hall; pedestrians streets with huge lod houses of Middle age, cafés, restaurants on Place Plumereau, commercial streets in the center, shopping for everybody : shoes, fashion, Vintage, and also galeries and antiques in rue de la Scellerie. Good restaurants and a delicious pastry.
