The market on Moore Street is well worth the short detour from the attractions on O'Connell Street. They sell fruit and vegetables, flowers, fish, and black-market cigarettes. A point of etiquette: the vendors will yell at you if you try to choose your own fruit. Don't even try. If this bothers you, there's a Tesco up the way a bit.Recommended for:

A great market just off of Henry Street and O'Connell street. A large number of vendors selling fruit, vegetables, fish, flowers and more. Prices are low, and choice is good. Don't try and pick your own though, tell the vendor what you want and they choose and bag it for you. Worth a look even if you're not buying, to get a glimpse in to Dublin from days gone by.Recommended for:

Moore street market runs from Monday to Saturday. Flowers Fruit & vegetables are the order of the day, and the banter from the traders really makes a visit here worthwhile. It's a great photo opportunity, and gives all visitors a glimpse of how Dublin was in years gone by.
