This is definitely a place you should visit if you are in the area. Other than the great design of the place and the AMAZING and super creative food they serve here, this is just a fun place to visit. We booked a table for 9:30 and the place was packed with people until midnight on a Friday night.
It's very noisy and busy, so if you are planning on having a quiet night you should go somewhere else. The food here is just delish! we had a bunch of small dishes like the tartar, the sashimi, pork belly, sticky ribs, carpaccio and the crab legs. The prices are not cheap, but definitely reasonable.
I don't remember when was the last time I enjoyed such great food without the feeling you are seated in a fancy place and should be quiet.Recommended for:

My first Iron Chef restaurant! I made reservations the week before, so we were only able to get a 5:30pm reservation or 9pm. We decided we would just end our wine tasting early and eat early.
We were walking along the Napa River behind the restaurant and saw the kitchen staff come out to the back patio for a pep talk/meeting. It was neat seeing this and they did a cheer at the end!
We got seated in the back area. Beautiful interior decor that was minimal, simple, clean. It's neat seeing the kitchen area...and as our waiter was walking me to the restroom area, Morimoto had just arrived! Cool!!!!
Toro tartare - left me wanting more. Our waiter explained how to eat it using the paddle to scoop some toro, dipping in soy sauce, then choosing a condiment to eat the bite with. Nori paste, wasabi, guacamole, puffed crackers, chive, sour cream. So good!
Morimoto pork chop with apple/ginger sauce and kimchi. Big piece of meat...I was surprised. I'm not a big kimchi eater, but this kimchi went well with the pork; the sauce was great too!
My bf got the duck duck goose. Wow, the duck confit was delish! Duck breast, soup, and fried rice with sunny side egg was yummy!
I had a lovely experience here and can't wait for the next opportunity to come back again to try something else!Recommended for:

OMG I love this place. The night I went here I spent 4 hours. The food was so good I didn't want to leave. You must try the tuna hamachi. We where not disappointed in anything we ordered. Later in the night it turns into a little club and the bar gets crowded. Great decor, amazing staff, food to die for, and fun environment. This place is a defiant stop in Napa.

Modern, edgy decor, good service, stiff drinks - and most importantly, impeccable sushi. Although the bill could get hefty, the menu is broad enough to include many fairly reasonably priced dishes, and the lowest price point omakase is only $50. The macaroons and other sweets at the sweet store were meh, but then this is a sushi restaurant, not a bake shop.

Hands down one of the best places I've ever eaten!!! The seafood Toban Yaki was the best thing my mouth has ever tasted. I'll keep this review short and sweet...if you are ever in Napa, this should definitely be a dinner stop. The ambiance is fantastic and the food is freakin' amazing!

Chef Morimoto's Napa outfit and this is where his brilliance strives! The dining area is very chic, the open kitchen is very inviting (to try its creations), the atmosphere cozy and relaxing. Oh and the food choices wonderful and presented beautifully!
there are both inside and outside seating, and, for just this once, the inside seating is preferred because the decor is just so beautiful! Great wine or strong innovative cocktails with the meal surrounding by great company, brunch might turn into dinner before we want to leave!
