One of rome's most charming fountains. Great in all weather and amidst one of the most inviting squares. During the summer, it's also a nice place to cool down.

Bernini left his mark on this city like none other, and the only reason this beautiful fountain might be overshadowed is because he constructed a much grander one at the heart of Piazza Navona. Silly goose.Recommended for:Local Culture

Rome has many decadently sculpted fountains throughout the city. The Moro Fountain is one of them. Located in Piazza Navona and designed in 1575, the Fountain adds a layer of Roman majestic grandeur to the Plaza.Recommended for:Art & Design Lovers

At the southern end of the Piazza Navona is the beautiful Fontana del Moro (Fountain of the Moor) with a basin and four Tritons sculpted by Giacomo della Porta (1575) to which, in 1673, Bernini added a statue of a Moor wrestling with a dolphin.
