    Medina of Marrakesh

    29 reviews

The medina is an interesting place. You'll see sheep heads, next to candles, leather bags, and motor cycle parts. Every body wants to sell you their stuff. There's only one simple rule: they will never sell for a price they're not happy with. So try to go as low as you can. If you want to get an idea of ...

    Medina, Marrakesh Morocco
    20 reviews

It's crowded, hectic, chaotic but interesting. They sell everything here - spices, babouche (Moroccan slippers, pottery, silverware, jellabas (Moroccan robes), antiques -- that you can make you crazy. Do bargain.

    Medina of Fez

    16 reviews

Visiting medina of Fez was one of the highlight of my trip while I was in Morocco. Its medina is relatively smaller than the one at Meknes but it is more charming (don't get tempted shopping here if you intend to go to Marrakech as it has more choices).

Jardin Majorelle & Musee d'Art Islamique

Avenue Yacoub El Mansour, Marrakesh Morocco
    16 reviews

What a great little gem, just outside the city. You'll need to get a taxi if you're in the city center, but it's well worth the trip out. We had such a great time walking around and exploring the grounds. Many great photo opportunities. Even if you aren't a nature lover, you will still be impressed by what you see.

    Jamaâ El Fna

The best part of Marrakech, this is the most vibrant square I have been to in any city in the world. SO MUCH GOING ON. Restaurants, food stands, stores, performances, concerts, animals, tea, hanging out... it is a truly massive and vibrant square (especially at night) which is one of my worldwide highlights and makes Marrakech an awesome destination.
