Mt. Eden is the highest natural point and volcano in Auckland. It has panoramic 360-degree views of the city. Don't forget to bring your camera.

If you want a full view of Auckland while sitting on a vast grassland and some trees, this is the right place for you. The crater covered with grass adds more marks to this place!

The 2nd highest natural point of Auckland. Initially I have my reservations in going up as it seems like there are nothing much to do up there but my view changed slightly after being there. It's true that there are nothing much to do there but the view is pretty nice so I have quite enjoyed my time there.

Mount Eden isn't just a nice place for a staunch uphill walk - it's also an ideal place to take in the Auckland view. On a nice day it's a great stroll - even better for sunset.

Mt. Eden is one of the many extinct volcanoes in Auckland. It's a bit further from City Centre but still a good view. Hike or drive, your choice.

Not just a free view to the city (unlike the sky tower) its just a nice place to be in the middle of Auckland.

The view here is awesome. You can basically see the whole of Auckland here. If you got energy left after this steep climb, try to go to the top of One Tree Hill as well.
