When our kids were young and couldn't handle a full day of skiing or in the summer if it was too rainy, we would stop by the Children's Museum just a half a block away from Peak 9 Inn and just two blocks from Lances West and Beaver Run. My kids would play for hours. The Children's Museum offers crafts, legos, puppets, a toddler area and more. It is a fabulous addition to this mountain town!Recommended for:Family Travelers

Not a large facility, but PLENTY to hold the attention of our 2 and 4 year olds for a couple hours. Lots of costumes and imagination stimulus. They had a blast, and wanted to go back the following day. That says a lot.
