    Haji Ali Dargah

    13 reviews

Haji Ali has become more commercialized now with hawkers at every corner, not to mention the beggars, which was a serious mood-dampener. What might have been a pleasant walk on the road to Haji Ali with the sea lapping on either side of you, was completely ruined by beggars who kept wailing for alms. The place was quite dirty and ...

    Chowpatty Beach

    17 reviews

Chowpatty Beach is a great place to people watch and pick up local street food. Certainly not the pristine beach you've been dreaming of -- it is dirty, crowded, and can be a bit intimidating. I love it for the atmosphere but it isn't beautiful. A drive along the waterfront is also a must.

    Chor Bazaar

    10 reviews

Not everybody digs this glorified and somewhat pushy flea-market in the alleys north of Victoria Terminus, but you have to admit that it has character. Literally, 'Thieves' Market', Chor Bazaar is the place to go for furniture and antiques of questionable provenance, though it's equally engrossing for anyone with a camera and an eye to street photography.

    Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya

    11 reviews

Though architecture students may have qualms with its flamboyant Indo-Saracenic style, the Prince of Wales Museum houses what is arguably the city of Mumbai's finest classical Indian Art. From lavish Hindu sculpture to exquisite Mughali miniature-work, the museum is worth at least a couple hours' time, and the audio tour is surprisingly good.

great live music place. they have live music every night, some nights better than others. sometimes locals and sometimes imported. design of the place is super cool, food is pretty good too if you want to eat dinner there. later seating for dinner (10:30pm) gets really loud as music cranks up.

    Hare Rama Hare Krishna Temple

It's a very good temple. You can find people do Bhajans and Keerthans all the time. Few festivals celebrated very nice like Janmashtami and Gita Jayanthi. It's very close to Juhu beach. Recommended.
