Food was great, attention to detail was amazing, but it was the service that really stood out. Very attentive, knowledgeable, accommodating staff that had the little things down, whether it was a nuance of mixology (great gimlets) or a willingness to turn an appetizer into an entree.

This restaurant, a part of Cavallo Point Resort, has upscale yet homey ambiance. The service is excellent, and food is exceptional. We enjoyed the dishes, which were unique and made from fresh, locally/organically grown ingredients. The most interesting dish was "Miso glazed bone marrow" appetizer ($10), which was very good. The menu has many other unique dishes such as eucalyptus marinated burrata. In-season seafood is highly recommended (salmon, trout, dungeness crab, oyster, etc.). We had a difficult time picking desserts since there are many interesting ones, but the ones we picked were really good!

Cavallo Point's main restaurant is all that the lodge is: sustainable, green, homey. The decor is beautiful, and the food extremely fresh. Besides, it has a Michelin star (one of the Bay Area's only Michelin-starred restaurants).
