Simply amazing. It is wonderful that some of the pre-human hominid remains for each East Africa is so famous for remain right here in Kenya, on display for the world to see. These pieces could easily be in any of the world's top museums - in New York, London or Paris. But no, they are here, where they belong - and the exhibits are riveting. A Nairobi must-see.

known for its animals and you’ll find impressive stuffed specimens in the Great Hall of Mammals and live ones of the cold blooded variety in the Snake Park. The museum is a great introduction to this diverse country or a great way to wrap up a visit. One can make a full day of the museum but a few hours will suffice for most people.
