On the weekends, you'll be lucky to find a table. This place is incredibly popular with locals and tourists alike. The food is fantastic and the beer mugs are huge.

The Mugg is always great. The menu has a broad selection of food so there is always something to suit me appetite. You can't go wrong with the coffee, either- always perfect.

The Village Cafe serves wonderful comfort food and coffee. The atmosphere is fun and funky. The servers are always ridiculously cheery. It's hard to walk out of there unsatisfied.

    Napolitana

    1 review

Unquestionably my favorite restaurant in the world. I love this place so much that whenever I am in Swakopmund this is the only place my boyfriend and I go to dinner - even if that means four nights in a row. Fortunately, he feels the same. The oysters are awesome and the beef and game meats are always cooked to ...

    Ocean Basket

    1 review

I'm an Ocean Basket fanatic. I love the Cajun style calamari and the oysters they serve at all (but one) of the branches I've been to have been awesome. I love that I can walk out of any of these restaurants with a full belly and a full wallet.

    Cafe Zoo

    1 review

One of the nicer casual dining resto's I came across in Windhoek. I loved the outdoor seating in their back courtyard. The location is a little adrift from the heart of downtown, but since Windhoek is such a lovely quaint city, it isn't too far out of reach. I had a delicious cocktail here, something fresh and summer-y. Definitely worth ...

    Sardinia

    1 review

The food here was incredible! They offer up classic Italian flavors and classic Italian portions. I had the fettucini alfredo and could only finish half of it at dinner. I was planning on having the most awesome breakfast of leftovers. Imagine my disappointment when the resident kudu at the campsite we were staying at broke into our truck and ate ...

    Beryl's Burger Den

    1 review

If you've found that you partied too hard at the Gruniz Club / Swakop Lodge the night before when you were celebrating your first skydive or quad biking venture (it happens), then definitely head to Beryl's. They have exactly what every hangover calls for. The food is tasty with good portion sizes and great value, but it's the kind of ...

    Outjo Bäckerei

    1 review

They've got delicious stuff here. I'd always make a stop at this place after leaving Etosha. The game meat pies are great but tend to sell out early in the day.

    King Pies - Windhoek

    1 review

Sometimes, there's just nothing like a pepper-steak or chicken and mushroom pie. The one's they serve here are a step up from the stuff you get at the Enron station and they cook the fries to order so they're never cold and soggy.
