Beautifully located at the foot of Mount Kenya, and adjacent to Ol Pajeta conservancy. It is a great place to stop before launching into either. Due to the military camps there are a number of expats around and about. It also means the bars can get rowdy, and pick-pocketing is a real risk. However, it also hosts coffee shops like Dormans, and other more upscale spots like Brown's cheese, Lily Pads, Trout Tree, and Barney's.
