The Nashers of Dallas are such devout arts patrons that not only have they installed a number of art pieces from their personal collection at NorthPark Center, they built an entire museum in the Arts District to house both works from their collection and feature traveling exhibits. The grounds and even the building itself are a work of art as well. The ceiling was designed to capture and redirect sunlight onto the artwork throughout the day. Meanwhile, the garden is a serene and scenic experience sure to inspire and delight.

A gift to the city of Dallas by Raymond and Peggy Nasher. Considered at one time the most valuable world-wide collection of scuplure in private hands. Now a gift from the Nashers to the City of Dallas. In addition to the collection, the Nashers also contributed $70 million dollars for the building to house the collection; architect: Renzo Piano. Exhibition includes works by Picasso, Calder, de Kooning, Giacometti, Matisse and Miro. landscape architect Peter Walker designed the2.4 acre park that includes addtion sculptures. A cafe with a Wolfgang Puck sandwich, salad and desert menu overlooks the garden (guests must pay $10.00 admission price to access the cafe). Crow Collection and Dallas Museum of Art museums are located directly across the street. This beautiful garden houses the single greatest privately held collection of 20th-century sculpture. It is conveniently located down the street from the DMA, so you can easily see both in an afternoon.
