    Bluebird Cafe

    5
    17 reviews

Absolutely the place to go if you want to listen to live music in Nashville. Emphasis on singer-songwriters; lots of famous folks just drop in from time to time. It's a legend in Nashville. Audience actually listens to performers, rather than chat with each other. http://bluebirdcafe.com

    Hattie B's Hot Chicken

    3 reviews

If you visit Nashville, you've got to try the hot chicken! It's a must! Hattie B's has varying levels of "hot" chicken to accommodate any palate. The chicken was very juicy, and be sure to get the sweet tea. :-)

Good burger and fries joint. Not a fan of the sweet potato fries, but I think I just don't like those in general. Check the hours before you go, they're mostly a lunch place.

    Aquarium Restaurant

The atmosphere of 200,000 gallon salt water aquarium in the middle of the room makes up for slow service. We were not in a hurry, who would be with that to enjoy. The shrimp platter was tasty and some of the freshes tasting shrimp we ever ate. The Chocolate Lava Cake was awesome. It was an event as well as ...

    Husk

In a gracious 1882 brick mansion that was once home to the mayor of Nashville, James Beard Award–winning chef Sean Brock’s newest location of his Charleston, SC, standby turns out daily-changing dishes that are the perfect marriage of southern tradition and forward-thinking technique. Catfish is served roasted, not fried, with farro and kale; shrimp and grits get a kick from ...

    Puckett's Grocery & Restaurant

    4.5
    2 reviews

We were told there would be a 25 min wait for our table of 7, but we actually only waited ~10 mins. The food was outstanding, fresh, well prepared, coffee was hot and plentiful, the buffet brunch looked great but only one of our group partook. Service was excellent, warm and friendly. We'll most definitely visit Puckett's whenever we're downtown.

    Bolton's Spicy Chicken & Fish

Bolton's is the second oldest (and probably second most popular) hot chicken joint in Nashville. Prince's may get more attention, but Bolton's has something they don't have: fish. If you're not big on fried chicken, Bolton's spicy fish is the perfect way for you to experience the kickin, searing heat of hot chicken, without the chicken. You can get catfish ...
