Vegan cheese is made of ground cashews?
Coconut flour who?
Trying to fit in a variety of greens in my bowl??
They want to TRICK me into thinking that my "fried chicken" in my Soul Bowl was real battered and fried chicken (very delicious, by the way)
Vegans are modern day tricksters.
All of which I am amazed by with every visit. There is a lot of thought that goes behind the dishes to make Vegan food not only delicious, but appealing to the regular restaurant-goer. I'm seriously a meat lover, and now a vegan food lover.
I crave their chicken wings, it's seriously that good.Recommended for:

This is a pretty good vegetarian restaurant. The portabella and sausage burger was flavored well and tasted good. The sweet potato fries were decent, though a little on the burnt side. I really liked the watermelon fresco drink too. The staff are all really friendly. They even come around multiple times to your table to see if you need anything when it's not busy. Unfortunately, you can expect to wait about half an hour for your food when busy, even when they tell you it will be 10-15 minutes.
After another visit, I would highly recommend the nachos. Although it's listed as an appetizer, it's more than enough to serve as a meal and is quite tasty with lots hummus, salsa, guacamole, taco "meat", and beans. The desserts are also worth a try if you are looking for something sweet.Recommended for:

Native Foods service and food are excellent. It's my favorite place in Culver City for my fill of delicious veggies!
Try the soul bowl for a super hearty meal. I love their faux fried chicken that comes with it.

Overpriced, wannabe-meat (and wannabe-tasty) dishes. I had lunch here with my boss and coworkers at my last job. The only two good things here are the sweet potato fries and the lavender lemonade. Free refills on the lemonade too!

I like the Nachos here quite a bit, it's big and tasty and a good value. Service is friendly and helpful and the drinks and desserts are interesting as well. You can park across the street at Trader Joe's for two hours for free.

One of my favorite vegan restaurants. I'm not even vegan. I am a carnivore. But good food is good food! Their vegan nachos are LEGIT. Really really good nachos. Their vegan chicken is top notch also. They have watermelon juice on tap. They are a little bit on the pricey side, but very worth it.Recommended for:
