The New York Natural History Museum is one of my favorites but the London Natural History Museum topped it hands down! The museum is massive and beautiful! It was separated into several large sections and I wasn't able to get thought everything so I'll have to go back for another visit. It's hard to say what my favorite was but I really liked the timeline and the dinosaurs were really popular! I also found the mammals quite fascinating!

What can you say, this is one of THE museums I've wanted to visit since I was a kid. The best collection of geological examples, dinosaurs and ancient mammals (giant Sloth!) I have ever seen. Definitely a place someone like me could spend an entire day nerding out, unfortunately we didn't get much time after mistakenly going to the London Dungeon, thinking it was a torture museum.. (oops..).

If you love dinosaurs, or are travelling with children that do, I would highly recommend checking out the Natural History Museum of London. They have one of the largest collections I've seen

Absolutely brilliant! There is so much to see for the whole family. The kids will love the dinosaur section. The architecture of the building is amazing too!

London is full of history and this museum is no exception. The sheer scale and beauty of the building adds to the experience. The museum offers different exhibitions of time periods throughout history. While the idea of museums can be quite boring, this museum is engaging and exciting!

I have never been to London but this is definitely on my bucketlist, and this place is on the top of my list of places to see! I've read that they have on display a preserved WOOLLY MAMMOTH and this is definitely something I think everyone should check out.

I loved the Nat History museums in DC and New York but the one in London is definitely my favourite one. It is huge, and so impressive, I spent a whole day wandering its hallowed halls :) You won't regret stopping by here!

Just beside the Science Museum. Perfect for families - you can make a great day trip out of a visit to both of them. Always a treat.

Another of my favourite museums in London. I have an affinity with the Icthyasaur on display in the lobby as I remember watching it being excavated as a child.

This is such a fantastic museum - it's great that nearly all London museums are free Great place to amuse children for hours. Look online for their late nights for adults with booze and sleepovers for children.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Natural History Museum. It set in a old grand building and has interesting exhibits pertaining to botany, zoology, etc. When I went, they had a fantastic amateur photography exhibit on natural wild life. I'm not a science buff by any means, but I still appreciated what this museum had to offer.

Perhaps one of, if not, the greatest natural history museum in the world, this South Kensington icon holds fossils galore. An absolute must do with the children and anyone who enjoys all things flora and fauna, past and present.
