Navio is a very good, if somewhat overpriced, restaurant. The food was, all things told, very good. We did a six course fixed menu, of which 5 of the courses were excellent, including mains of seared salmon and wagyu beef. Both were beautifully presented and amazing with some creative twists (including an artichoke puree that was mind blowing). We did it with the wine pairing, and the sommelier was fantastic and spent time talking to us about each of the wines.
Overall, we had a great meal. That said, it was one of the most expensive meals I have had - which is saying something. For 2 of us for dinner and wine we spent about $450. And while the food was good, when comparing with some of my other favorites, I am not sure I would say the price was justified. But if you are looking for an upscale seaside meal and money is not a worry, Navio is a great option.

While we didn't eat at Navio, we did have lunch and cocktails at the conservatory lounge and enjoyed it. The view is pretty and the food was pretty good. We ate inside given it was a chilly day but looked like cocktails could also be enjoyed outside on the lawn. (next time!) Definitely worth a stop by if you are in the neighborhood!

Best brunch in the Bay Area. It's about $100 for pure ecstasy. From fresh already cracked crab claws and caviar, to sushi and dim sum. And you can't forget their dessert area. OMG! I make it a point to come here at least once a quarter with my besties that good married there. And the after, we enjoy a cocktail by the fire pit outside. It's a lovely Sunday afternoon.

One of the best breakfast spots you'll find in the Bay Area. First off, the dining room does have ridiculously beautiful views of the ocean. Most importantly though, the food is totally worth the price tag. My personal favorites are the Eggs Benedict and the French Toast. The omelettes are also excellent but it's not too hard to get good omelettes other places. If I had to pick one item, I'd recommend the Eggs Benedict as its hard to get perfectly cooked Eggs Benedict like this at other restaurants.

Most of the time we have breakfast here while we are at the Ritz. The breakfast buffet does not change much but the food is great. Being the ritz, they do make pretty much any change you would ask for as far as customizing your orders.
If you order from the menu, order the breakfast burrito. They recently discontinued it but still make it on demand.
Since most of the time the breakfast is included in the room fee I do not pay attention to the price.
I haven't tried dinner but the menu did not seem much to write home about.
