Since 1924, this bar in the edgy Pigneto neighborhood has been a Roman institution. In fact, in the 1950s, Pier Paolo Pasolini—the famous Italian film director, writer, and poet—was one of the bar's most frequent clients. Today, it's a retro-chic spot that still attracts a crowd of hip Romans, now with offerings like brunch, aperitivo, or late-night drinks (it's open ...

Pigneto is Rome's up and coming artsy district...think Soho in the 1980s. Lots of artists and general hippies, creative restaurants, and even some industrial buildings. If you've done done done all the tourist things, Pigneto is the place to be.

It's not a mainstream disco, and it's not exactly in tourist central, but it's a cool place with several indoor and outdoor bars. It's a big space with a couple of rooms playing different music, and an even bigger outdoor area. The music in one room could be an odd mix of throwback from the 50s and 60s, and the ...

This place is right in the up and coming Pigneto district and offers a variety of artisanal beers, among other beverage and food items. Definitely recommend Nebra for a smooth, creamy evening with a delightfully floral undertone.

Awesome! Have the size of a modern soccer stadium, and it was built before 100ad. A must see sight for anyone in Rome. I recomend that you buy the "Roma Pass", so you don't have to face the huge lines to get inside.

Most interesting because of its juxtaposition against the back drop of other historical monuments. A nice place to wonder and think about the glory of Ancient Rome and the long history of this amazing city The Roma Pass is highly recommended as a way to skip the long line.

It took us a while to find the Spanish Steps. Of course at the base of the steps is Piazza di Spagna (Spanish plaza). In the evening, the lights bring this square to life. There were quite a few people here when we visited but from the other photos, it's especially busy during the day. The nice thing is that ...

The Borghese Gallery is only one of the jewels inside VIlla Borghese, one of the most famed and largest urban park in Roma. We spent sometime strolling around the Villa at our own pace, the plentiful of trees provided the perfect cover on a hot day of nearly 100 degrees. The Villa was beautiful and relaxing, different things can be ...
