La verdad es que el lugar donde esta no es de los mejores, esta medio escondido a corta distancia de la Leidseplein y esta bastante mas pequeño que los otros

    The Pancake Bakery

Prinsengracht 191-A, 1015 DS Amsterdam, Netherlands
    12 reviews

We had the best pancakes we had ever tasted in this restaurant in Amsterdam. Whenever we talk about going back to Amsterdam (it would be our third trip) we always talk about the banana pancakes we had at the Pancake Bakery.

    De Kas

Kamerlingh Onneslaan 3, 1097 DE Amsterdam, Netherlands
    7 reviews

Upscale dutch dining may seem like a contradiction in terms, but this is a great little restaurant with an inviting atmosphere and very good food with a social conscience.

Elandsgracht 130, 1016 VB Amsterdam, Netherlands
    9 reviews

Yay for amazing burgers! I had two mini burgers so I could try out several kinds. I had the regular which was cooked perfectly and the goat's cheese burger which was a super yummy vegetarian option. So many options, I wish I had time to go back again!

    Hotel De Goudfazant

    Aambeeldstraat 10 H, 1021 KB Amsterdam, Netherlands
    6 reviews

I do love me some industrial chic, and Hotel de Goudfazant delivers in spades, shovels and exposed infrastructure. The "Good Pheasant" restaurant features adventurous plates like veal tongue along with less challenging tastes like gnocchi with chioggia beets and goat cheese. I really enjoyed not only the adventure of getting here, but the experience of being here. Exceptional service, great ...

    Cafe Winkel

    43 Noordermarkt 431015
    6 reviews

This place was recently featured on Travel Channel and in Condè Nast Traveler so you might have to fight for a seat. Come during the off hours and enjoy some Bitterballen (fried meatballs) and a cool one.

    Maoz Falafel

Ferdinand Bolstraat 67, 1072 LC Amsterdam, Netherlands

Maoz is a falafel joint, of the order that keeps Europe thanking the Middle East for bringing something this awesome to its streets. Step one: head inside and select your base; I prefer the falafel with hummus and aubergine. Step two: load up with tasty toppings from the bar. Step three: stand there with the rest of the crowd mowing ...

    Damrak 6, 1012 LG Burgwallen-Nieuwe Zijde, Nederland
    8 reviews

Disclaimer: I haven't actually eaten here because it's not veg-friendly, but I assisted on a film that had a scene shot here so I've spent a lot of time loitering there. This is one of those places people go after a night of drinking for a quick greasy snack, or after a morning at the office for a small greasy ...

    Cafe de Jaren

Nieuwe Doelenstraat 20, 1012 CP Amsterdam, Netherlands
    5 reviews

Excellent grand cafe--good for people-watching, and with a nice terrace outside on the canal. Not too expensive, with better-than-average Dutch-cafe menu: simple sandwiches, some salads, koffie verkeerd (Dutch-style milky coffee) and fresh orange juice.

    Entrecôte et les Dames

    Van Baerlestraat 47, Amsterdam
    4 reviews

Steak, fries and salad. Incredible tarragon sauce for the steak, mayonnaise that's a cut above for the fries (yes, I have been living in Europe for almost 8 years, and I have mayo on my fries. So there, Pulp Fiction.) And to start, fresh, nearly perfect gem lettuce leaves. Other sexy little touches include leaving your bottle of wine on ...

Awesome ribs. Nice size serving. Opt for the smoked over the regular ones.

    Pannenkoekenhuis Upstairs

Grimburgwal 2, 1012 GA Amsterdam, Netherlands
    3 reviews

Whether you've just woken up after a long night on the town, or are in an herb-induced ravenous frenzy, hit the streets in search of Upstairs. Mind you, it's not terribly easy to find. Even with the address, I spent several minutes standing outside trying to figure out where, exactly, it was. Once you locate the steep staircase, head up ...

    Festina Lente

Looiersgracht 40, 1016 VS Amsterdam, Netherlands
    4 reviews

Festina Lente is a beautiful little cafe near the center but on a calm corner of a canal. A good place to relax for hours with a book or a laptop, but also nice for a quick lunch with friends.

    Tempo Doeloe

Utrechtsestraat 75, Amsterdam, NH 1017 VJ Netherlands
    5 reviews

The food here is fine. The atmosphere is what I'm not so keen on--we're talking tablecloths and classical music and softly clinking glasses. It's the kind of place people go on business dinners or romantic dates. Which doesn't seem like the best backdrop for a gutsy, spicy dinner--it actually sort of leeches some of the spice out of the food... ...

This is good for a quick and decent lunch without paying a lot of money. If you get tired of exploring and want something simple, this isn't bad if you happen to be nearby.

The great thing about Amsterdam is that it's a very small city but attracts big cultural events--and the Paradiso is a perfect example. It's a smaller club set in an old church, but it books almost all of big-name bands and DJs who come through town. Great sound quality too. Late nights it turns into a dance club--usually a good ...

    Screaming Beans

Hartenstraat 12, 1016 CB Amsterdam, Netherlands
    5 reviews

Serious coffee & tea shop in the heart of Amsterdam. They know their beans here, and they can help you choose the best coffee brewing process to bring out the flavor in the beans you choose. Teas are also very high quality. Highly recommend!

    Prinsengracht 381 , Amsterdam, Netherlands
    5 reviews

Had a delightful lunch at Envy - the burrata and prosciutto salad was amazing (in no small part due to the seasoned tomatoes), and the scrambled eggs with herbs and truffle oil also did not disappoint. Service was friendly and relaxed - we didn't feel rushed at all. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Amsterdam.
