One of the few places I will stay. You won't find a better value in the city and the rooms are excellent! The bars and restaurant are frequented by the most interesting trend setters in the city. My new go-to place.

This Hilton building was originally the Masonic Temple, but was sold in 1992 and redeveloped as Hotel Monaco until Hurricane Katrina. Hotel Monaco did not reopen after Katrina in the hotel reopened in 2007 as a Hilton. This Hilton is also located right next to my employer's NOLA HQ building and features Chef John Besh's Lüke restaurant on premises. It's ...

The best way to describe JW Marriott, which is right smack in the middle of Canal Street, is “80s cheerful.” The murals are in bright colors, the ceilings soar, and the first thing that greeted me upon my arrival was the succulent smell of steak from Shula’s steakhouse on the ground floor. Yum. As I snaked my way through the ...

Great little hotel right off Frenchman St, the street with the most music clubs. A few blocks to the Quarter, the French Market, and Jackson Square; it's all very close. A very colorful part of town with lots going on. Nice Hotel with good prices. A feeling of old New Orleans!

    Sheraton New Orleans Hotel

    Sheraton New Orleans Hotel

    Class:

Good! - 79% of guests recommend

The Sheraton in New Orleans is a surprisingly nice place--rooms are small but very comfortable with good mattresses, nice linens, and have a recently upgraded look. It's also on Canal Street, literally across the street from the French Quarter--close to all the action, but not in the middle of it (ie you'll be able to sleep at night).

The Loews family of hotels is good at what they do – providing quality amenities and hotel experiences – and the New Orleans branch is no different. Hosting award-winning Café Adelaide and the Swizzle Stick Bar (both managed by the Commander’s Palace Family of Restaurants) within its walls, any guest here could be nothing but pleased with his stay. Location, location, location! That's really what this place is about. The included continental breakfast and free WiFi/business center access also adds to its appeal. The front desk staff are rich with southern charm and especially helpful. Got a bargain on the room rate so I really got my money's worth. I would definitely consider staying there again the next time ...

The real estate maxim of 'location, location, location' comes to mind when I think of the Royal St. Charles Hotel in New Orleans. At just one block away from the French Quarter, it's in a good position to woo newcomers. All the little extras in the room make a stay in the Big East that much easier.

Great hotel, but it loses stars because of two things: paid parking lot and package fees. I hoped for a hotel of this level of quality and price to not charge at least the package fee.

La Qunita is actually Spanish for next to Denny's. Simple, clean and comfy and always right next to Denny's - what more could you ask for? Oh, and if you want the real 'La Quinta' experience you can always practice your Spanish with the housekeeping ladies.

The lobby is on the second floor. The rooms are located in separate towers. Take the evelvator to the 1st floor and you will find yourself in a dark basement. Stand in the taxi line and the taxi's stop short. Try navigating all this after multiple drinks on Bourbon street.

Fair - 74% of guests recommend

Fine for a last-minute booking before heading to Jazz Fest, but the Astor Crowne Plaza isn't a hotel I would book for a regular weekend in New Orleans. The rooms are large, but they are dark and in need of upkeep. It is right off of Bourbon Street though, and the Bourbon House is conveniently downstairs.
