Very interesting and eclectic menu. More alcohol than food, and since I don't drink that much probably won't go back for anything other than a unique local breakfast.

    St. James Cheese Company

5004 Prytania St, New Orleans, LA 70115
    7 reviews

Delicious sandwiches and salads, but it is really all about cheese at the St. James Cheese Company. There are so many cheese on display from which to select, and the staff seems very knowledgable. A great place to grab lunch and eat on their outside patio.

    Pascal's Manale Restaurant

1838 Napoleon Ave, New Orleans, LA 70115

Another great NOLA staple restaurant. Everyone comes here for the BBQ Shrimp but there are several great items on the menu. All their seafood is good in my opinion. Worth the trip away from the French Quarter.

    Deanie's Seafood

841 Iberville St, New Orleans, LA 70112
    7 reviews

Loved the food and the atmosphere! Lots of menu options showcasing classic New Orleans seafood dishes, with several dishes unique to Deanie's. My friend and I both thought the complimentary baked potato appetizer (instead of bread) was a nice touch, and it helped keep our hunger at bay while waiting for our really tasty Bucktown Boil Pizza. Liked the place ...

    Irene's Cuisine

539 Saint Philip St, New Orleans, LA 70116

The dinner I had here was very excellent. Not only was the service great, but the food was heavenly. I remember a Oysters Rockefeller soup - poured once my soup bowl was placed in front of me. The fish was a trout almondine - butter, almonds, fish, with dauphinoise potatoes and green beans. Desserts were lovely too. Their menu changes ...

    The Camellia Grill

With its iconic, pink flower logo and electric-pink neon lettering, The Camellia Grill has been catching the eyes and sating the hungers of NOLA locals and visitors for decades. It’s an old school diner – burgers, fries, and shakes – with a giant, snaking countertop and bar seats planted all around the edges. The atmosphere is amazing, the cooks and ...

Snag a table outside; great place to visit and people watch. Start with a big bottle of red wine; they have a good selection. Order swiss fondue, salad tropicale, (Ask for both dressings and mix them), next the mussels and pomme frites. Finish with a crepe. Divine! All time favorite place.

    Booty's Street Food

800 Louisa Street, New Orleans, LA, 70117
    4 reviews

Full disclosure, I'm the proprietor of this establishment. Booty's sizzles, shakes and stirs up international street food-inspired small plates, craft cocktails and Stumptown coffee 7 days a week in Nola's artsy, gay Bywater neighborhood. You'll find a unicorn skeleton holding court on the wall, and some of the biggest movers and shakers in town seated at the bar. Local artists ...
