A wonderful interactive art center that houses a cinema, art exhibits, a cafe, books/craft store, and several fashion boutiques.
Come here to experience Jpop culture without actually being in Japan. The boutiques here carry awesome fashions in the likes of the Harajuku, Lolita, Cosplay, and emo...oh my. The galleries are very interesting and the book store carries a lot of unique items.
It is great to get the sense of being transported to young hip Japan, while being surrounded by a more traditional Japan Town...in the middle of San Francisco.Recommended for:Trendsters

If you are into Lolita style this place is a must visit. I have waited long enough for Baby, the Stars Shine Bright to open a store in San Francisco. Their outfits are to die for. If you are not into Lolita, Harajuku or any of the Japanese alternative fashion style, I am probably not making any sense to you. I guess this place is really not for everyone. But do check it out at least once. It might be an eye opener for you.

This is a very cool store. They have very unique things, like clocks, furniture and decoration, most are made by designers. The stuff there are very cool. Also check out the cloth department on the 2nd floor. The cashiers are wearing vintage cloth that are really unique.
