    Morgans Hotel

    Morgans Hotel

    Class:
    8 reviews
Excellent! - 85% of guests recommend

The Morgans is a very cool boutique hotel in cool part of New York. It's very unassuming from the street, but the amenities and luxury of the lobby and rooms are definitely felt. The rooms are an average size for a New York hotel (which means small for most people.) But the decor and the layout of the rooms really ...

When you're in this part of town, it's hard to find a good view, but this spot delivers with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows. This is truly one of my favorite hotels around.

    Peninsula New York

    Class:

Excellent! - 90% of guests recommend

I remember really liking their weekend buffet brunch. Ok, so it's super expensive, but they freshly make a ton of stuff, like eggs benedict (my favorite). It also feels super high end like breakfast at Tiffany's (yes I dressed up). The rooftop bar is also great. Nice view, strong drinks, fun company.

This place rocks. The rooms are so well appointed. The decor, over the top Trump. The telephone system even has your name (Welcome Ms. So and so!) The room is all wired into one system, so you can turn on the lights at the same time as you can turn on the TV at the same time as you close ...

How often do you come across a new hotel that is built from the ground up...in Manhattan! Well this is one and it is fantastic! The Muse Hotel New York - a Kimpton Hotel

    Class:
    5 reviews
Excellent! - 89% of guests recommend

The best hotel I ever stayed in in New York City. Boutique hotel is spelled M-U-S-E. Excellent location, 1 minute walk from Times Square, but you don't notice that when inside the hotel, it is very quite there. They have a wine hour every day (i don't drink alcohol, but it seemed very well visited). Great staff en spacious rooms, ...

Adopted into the Autograph family and managed by Marriott, the Carlton Hotel is a true reflection of luxury, swank, and customer service excellence in the form of a boutique hotel for a reasonable price. Class:

My first impression of Andaz could be summarized in one character. W. The style and ambiance have striking resemblance to the better known W Hotel chain - Trendy style luxury with a twist of modern simplicity. The interior design of the hotel rooms is superior though. While some of the elements might be a bit unconventional, most work together in ...

    Crosby Street Hotel

    Class:
    4 reviews
Excellent! - 91% of guests recommend

This hotel boasts a great SoHo location and a laundry list of celebrity guests, but the impossibly slow service and generally lax attitude of most of the people who work at this hotel, make it hard to rationalize the cost of dining or staying here. Update: I love movie night at this hotel: awesome screening room and interesting film selections.

My favorite part about this hotel are the attached restaurants (which will deliver to your room, if you're that lazy...) Serafina serves a great plate of pasta and has great outdoor seating on Broadway for a nice day. Redfarm (opening soon in place of Fatty Cue) is also an excellent option, which may forbid you from ever leaving the hotel... ...

This is an older hotel, but it's a short walk to Rockefeller Center and 5th Avenue, and Central park is just beyond that. Bummer it's far from soundproof, and the lobby is nicer than the rooms (it can be slightly misleading), but not a bad find all in all if you just need something quick and convenient.

    Eventi - a Kimpton Hotel

    Class:

Excellent! - 89% of guests recommend

To me, Eventi will always be the hotel where I once saw Kiefer Sutherland, just casually chatting on the phone. This hotel sees a lot of famous faces—and for good reason. Its sophisticated décor, spacious rooms and luxurious beds are hard to resist. The rooms are incredibly luxe, with Frette Italian bedding, leather pillows and even cushion-lined walls. The marble ...
