This is a gem of a hotel in Soho. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are modern with dramatic windows (although the view isn't particularly noteworthy), and the rooftop pool make this my new favorite hotel in NYC. Be warned that the pool is tiny, so if you're traveling with kids, they should only expect to splash ...

This is an exceptional property. Rooms are of a generous size and service is exceptional. The attention to detail at the property is in line with Asian standards -- i.e., excellent. Great to see that the Peninsula has done a good job of bringing their Hong Kong culture to New York. The in-house rooftop bar Salon de Ning is also ...

The Muse Hotel is one of the most polished hotels I've stayed at. It's perfectly nestled in the busy Theatre District with plenty of restaurants nearby, and you can still get a quiet night's rest. The room was comfortable - nice bedding, flat screen tv, ipod dock, mini fridge, a lot of cabinet/closet space, and spacious bath/shower. The only thing ...

The lobby's sky-high ceilings and sprawling reception area makes this luxury hotel seem even more luxe than its price might indicate—that, and its prime location in the Flatiron District on Madison Avenue. The rooms themselves are typical of a hotel of this class and price: modern, clean, spacious, comfortable, with high-quality linens and bath amenities. The bathroom is more spacious ...

On weekends, Wall Street is the deep, dark forest of Manhattan; seriously, it is THAT deserted. Nestled in this little forest is a hotel gem, otherwise known as the Andaz Wall Street. You enter and are greeted by a friendly, dare I say, cheerful front desk agent rocking an iPad. She quickly checks you in with a lilting "Have a ...

This hotel boasts a great SoHo location and a laundry list of celebrity guests, but the impossibly slow service and generally lax attitude of most of the people who work at this hotel, make it hard to rationalize the cost of dining or staying here. Update: I love movie night at this hotel: awesome screening room and interesting film selections.

What an adorable hotel! I was really surprised by the design and decor of the rooms. They take the time to come up with some great looking guestrooms. You'll also find artwork from local artists in the area hanging on the walls of the hallways. The rooms feature interesting hardware in the bathroom and oftentimes artwork hanging above the beds. ...

I used to tutor a girl here who took the train in from the Hamptons with her mother for SAT lessons. I love the neighborhood: brownstones and quiet tree-lined streets. You always notice the Barclay because of the flags out front. The rooms are stately and elegant. Definitely an old school place.
