Good! - 79% of guests recommend

The Waldorf-Astoria is probably the most famous and illustrious of all of New York's hotels. The original building was constructed by the Astor family on the site of the Empire State Building, while the current building is located a few blocks from Grand Central Station on Park Avenue. Along the with Chrysler Building, it's one of New York's finest examples ...

the W Time Square is definitely THE most happening, party vibe W in NYC if not the world! It is "loud" by the surrounding neon lights, it is almost always filled with people at the lobby/bar area. The rooms are reasonably sized for NYC and everything else about it (whatever, whenever) is consistent with the W brand. Location is great ...

I'm a fan simply because the rooms are huge and the suite I was in featured a beautiful, free-standing bathtub, parked just feet from the bed, which I thought was AMAZING. A great bathtub located right in the bedroom is my idea of luxury. Also, access to the pool, in the middle of a hot summer, is reason enough alone ...

Tribeca Grand is very New York appropriate if you're going there for leisure. The entire hotel feels like a lounge which can be odd during the day, but chances are you won't be around during the day anyways. Overall, a pleasant experience.

I stayed here just after the place first opened and it was a breath of fresh air, in an otherwise staid hotel industry, at the time. This hotel is across from Lincoln Center and a major "Fashionista" hang out! Having just been in NYC for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week I found myself spending a lot of time here. Great location and proximity to LC is the reason to stay here. The rooms are small, modern and OK. The staff is efficient but not overly helpful.
