The Plaza is the very definition of luxury. The Presidential Suite is the most expensive in NYC, renting out at $15,000 a night. You do not have to stay at The Plaza to feel luxurious; you can enjoy the Todd English market or have a cup of tea and lunch at The Oak Room.

The minimal lighting and loud music may not be the taste of those who prefer hotels to be more traditional, however one can't feel totally cool staying in such a location with this brand. W definitely crafted an experience - highlights include ipod dock in room, huge umbrellas to borrow on exit, placemat in lift depending on time of day, ...

Soho House is definitely a scene. A great place to have drinks, hang out, or join a special event (e.g., book signing, moving screening, etc.). The people watching here is great. Larger and less intimate than some of NY's other private clubs. Soho House feels a bit more commercial. The food is fine but definitely nothing special.

A trendy, luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Soho that boasts both a cool design and a great vibe. The illuminated metal stairs are a dramatic industrial feature, especially when combined with the Old World decor in the upstairs lounges. Don't miss the newly reborn Whiskey Bar on the second floor, stocked with 50 American whiskeys. Gogobot filmed a ...
