I love this rooftop bar. They have great views of the city and good cocktails. The food is adequate but not much of a meal. The service isn't the best but you are going for the atmosphere more anyways.

Rooms are small but very well appointed. Every space is well used. The Benjamin boasts one of the city's best concierges (we got last minute Nobu 57 reservations) and has a great Brazilian churriascara restaurant downstairs. Convenient, yet not on the crazy Times Square strip.

Granted this was my first and only hotel during my NYC trip it's really hard to imagine needing more than what they provided. The photo is a view from our 34th floor king suite which was plenty big for a group of 4. Location was great, bus tours started across the street which was nice. You are in the heart ...

Old fashioned elegant hotel in midtown, perfectly located for sightseeing: a block away from 5th avenue, 10min walk from Central Park and Times Square, 2 blocks away from Rockerfeller Centre and tube stations. There is a gym, room are big and modern, breakfast room a bit tiny but food is delicious.

Location: perfect! Times Square at your doorstep (literally) but without the noise. Comes with a hefty price tag. Very expensive! Rooms were large for NY standards but could've been better for the price paid. If you're after luxury and can afford to pay, you should look elsewhere. But if you're after location, then this place is good. It's 2 metres ...

Something about the traditions oozing through the pores and doors of the Algonquin grabs you the minute you set foot inside. Glory days flash by, roaring twenties, post war boom - you just feel this place has been there and back. And it has. Have to say that although it is listed as 4 to 5 star, that rating might ...

We stayed here right after it opened, while we looked at apartments for our ultimate move. The club lounge was great, with wifi and a good selection of drinks, snacks, and continental breakfast. The staff was great, with the front desk accepting packages for us before arrival and allowing me to fax apartment application stuff. Room was decent with very ...

16/20; Rooms 7/10, Facilities&Dining 4/5, Service 5/5. A smaller, more discrete option to some of the palaces of lush extravagance on New York's Upper East Side. Dining options are renowned and service is very attentive and responsive. Certainly more personalised due to the hotel's slightly smaller size. Rooms can be capacious, continuing the slightly art-deco influenced decorative theme. Not the ...

Great little boutique hotel a few blocks away from Bryant Park and close enough to Times Square (if that's where you want to be) yet far enough to avoid the riff-raff (which is what I would prefer to do.) The rooms are tiny (a New York standard,) yet they are cozy and luxurious: Frette linens, Morton Brown bath products, marble ...

The rooms in this hotel are marvelous. Floor to ceiling windows and lots of space. Very large bathrooms. I actually was able to fantasize that this was my plush New York apartment. This is a very nice mid-priced hotel in a great location in mid-town east, about 2 blocks from the Empire State Building. While the lobby area feels a bit dated, the rooms themselves were great. Not big, but the beds were comfortable, the linens were nice, and they offered Aveda products. Main downside for me was that the wi-fi (which ...
