Very resonable price for a midtown Manhattan hotel. Very classy old antique feeling inside, but clean and upscale. It is only couple of blocks away from Grand Central station and it is conveniently located. I have discovered this hotel by bidding on Priceline and got it for about $100 one time and $110 another time back in 2005 and 2006, ...

I've walked past this art deco hotel for years without ever setting foot inside. On a recent work trip to NYC, I stayed here and finally figured out what it's all about. Recently renovated, the beds are super comfortable and the rooms have the same cool art deco feel as the lobby. The location, steps away from the A train ...

I love hotels that have a comfortable feel, lighting, lobby culture, excellent food and a wine list. I love the Mercer because the lobby is amazing. Juice is by Organic Avenue and the food by Jean-Georges Vongerichten is great.

While more famous for the Gordon Ramsay restaurant than the hotel itself, the London is a really great option in NYC. The rooms are very large by New York Standards, and comfortably furnished. The location is central - walking distance to Times Square or Central Park. The staff was both friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Solid hotel in Midtown Manhattan. Close to theatres, restaurants, shops and Central Park. Be sure to earn SPG points as it's part of Starwood Hotels. The lobby has two popular restaurants especially The Burger Joint with a never ending line.

They just did a major remodel of this hotel updating the gym, the reception area, the rooms, the suites, etc. It is right across from Central Park. Note of warning, they have some really small hole in the wall rooms (They also have some gorgeous rooms). If you are paying a lot of money for a room here (which most ...

The Ink 48, one of Kimpton's newer properties in NYC, is a great hotel. Nice, albeit small, rooms with the contemporary, colorful decor that Kimpton is known for. The Press Lounge, their rooftop bar, is perfect for unobstructed views of the Hudson. For tourists who aren't used to the city, the location could be a problem as it is on ...

I like this hotel because it is small, cozy and private. I like the location as well. 4 to 5 blocks from Grand Central. The complimentary buffet is great! Skip the over priced Asia de Cuba restaurant...it has seen better days and not worth the money.

With 6 floors of expected small, vintage- style rooms, this hotel has been around for a while. Nowadays it is most recognized by New Yorkers for its club on the 1st floor, which is always a good time. However I would not suggest staying in the hotel simply for entry to this hot spot.

My newest favorite spot to hangout in downtown New York City. Close to Battery Park and the waterfront, the design of the lobby is amazing, and the rooftop bar is even better. Not to many people know of it, so it's great it doesn't get overcrowded.

An almost obnoxiously Italian hotel. The rooftop area is nice but the drinks are expensive and the crowd is almost all Italian. If you want a rooftop bar, I prefer Gallow Green just down the street for better drinks, service, and a view.
