    I used to tutor a girl here who took the train in from the Hamptons with her mother for SAT lessons. I love the neighborhood: brownstones and quiet tree-lined streets. You always notice the Barclay because of the flags out front. The rooms are stately and elegant. Definitely an old school place.

    I could live here! It's my fav hotel in NYC. I love staying in the suites and ordering pancakes in the morning or running over to Sarabeth's for challah French toast. Order the French press coffee and snuggle under the 600 thread count bed sheets.

    One block off of Times Square, the location and convenience cannot be beaten, if you are visiting that section of Manhattan. My room was pretty clean, modern and small. Surprisingly, the sound and noise from Times Square and bar downstairs were well blocked off.
