What an amazing deal for a hostel. Located two blocks from the Subway station, it's incredibly easy to get anywhere from here. It's proximity to Central Park is also really nice. I did a lot of walking to and from here, and had a fantastic time. There's not a lot out during the nighttime save for a McDonald's and some ...

One of the nicer Westins in New York City. The Starwood group bought a bunch of hotels and remodeled them into Westins and Ws. This one has slightly bigger rooms, and is RIGHT in the middle of Time Square so if you are here for NYE or show watching, it's the perfect choice. If I was still with a Platinum ...

High tea is great and the King Cole Bar is sometimes great, but sometimes so filled with tourists in t-shirts, it hardly resembles the fantastic old New York establishment it has always been. The lobster club is AMAZING and their bloody mary's are rivaled only by their dirty vodka martini's.

Really love the Royalton. Brings back GREAT memories! Right in the heart of midtown, Royalton boasts a GREAT bar, basically the whole first floor! We loved to go here to people watch, drink until there's no tomorrow, and then people watch some more and drink some more. Even if you are not staying here, the lobby bar is worth a ...

Gramercy Park Hotel is such a pretty and fun hotel, I would stay there in a heartbeat, if I did not happen to live just a few blocks away. Great roof, great restaurant, great breakfast, great bar. Update: the rooms themselves would benefit from a bit of sprucing. Update: we stayed here for a week because we were evacuated from ...

While more famous for the Gordon Ramsay restaurant than the hotel itself, the London is a really great option in NYC. The rooms are very large by New York Standards, and comfortably furnished. The location is central - walking distance to Times Square or Central Park. The staff was both friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Have very, very fond memories of Le Parker Meridien from when I lived here in NYC. Whenever we wanted to splurge on a brunch, we would go to Norma's. The Morgans Hotel is a super modern and hip hotel. It houses Asia de Cuba, which is a see and be seen, fusion, modern restaurant. I loved coming here for drinks. My newest favorite spot to hangout in downtown New York City. Close to Battery Park and the waterfront, the design of the lobby is amazing, and the rooftop bar is even better. Not to many people know of it, so it's great it doesn't get overcrowded.
