Stay Here! I stay in the city in a hotel once or twice a year every year with my family around the holidays as a little tradition. I have stayed at most of the best hotels in the city because we used to switch it up every year (the ritz, plaza, essex house, pierre to name a few) The Palace ...

I've walked past this art deco hotel for years without ever setting foot inside. On a recent work trip to NYC, I stayed here and finally figured out what it's all about. Recently renovated, the beds are super comfortable and the rooms have the same cool art deco feel as the lobby. The location, steps away from the A train ...

Still trendy, the Mercer has been a favorite in SoHo for quite a while now and although service can be spotty in the restaurant, this hotel is definitely still going strong.

The best spa experience I have ever had. The practitioner was other-worldy, mastered in reiki and deep tissue. I left feeling like I was on a cloud.

My favorite part about Le Parker Méridien is their “Do not disturb” door sign – it says “FUHGETTABOUDIT”. I liked it so much – I took it as a souvenir. But there are many other good things about this nice hotel. It is located within walking distance from NY attractions such as Carnegie Hall, Broadway Theater District, Columbus Circle, Rockefeller ...

The Ink 48, one of Kimpton's newer properties in NYC, is a great hotel. Nice, albeit small, rooms with the contemporary, colorful decor that Kimpton is known for. The Press Lounge, their rooftop bar, is perfect for unobstructed views of the Hudson. For tourists who aren't used to the city, the location could be a problem as it is on ...

Comfy, spacious rooms- the suites are worth it. Though the location, on a quiet stretch of Madison Ave in midtown, is not thrilling, it's definitely convenient and good for those wanting to avoid the frenetic nature of hotels located a few more blocks uptown. Morgans is cool and modern, but it's also quiet and relaxing, making it a great choice for ...

My newest favorite spot to hangout in downtown New York City. Close to Battery Park and the waterfront, the design of the lobby is amazing, and the rooftop bar is even better. Not to many people know of it, so it's great it doesn't get overcrowded.

An almost obnoxiously Italian hotel. The rooftop area is nice but the drinks are expensive and the crowd is almost all Italian. If you want a rooftop bar, I prefer Gallow Green just down the street for better drinks, service, and a view.
