    The Spotted Pig

    39 reviews

I would have given Spotted Pig 5 stars but the rockfort cheese was a tad too rich for my taste... otherwise, very colorful staff and cozy atmosphere.

    Mamoun's Falafel

When you're just not up for spending ridiculous amounts of money in New York but want to eat something tasty, head to old stand-by Mamoun's. Their falafel with or without hummus is a West Village classic.

    Shanghai Cafe

    6 reviews

Cheap cheap cheap lunch special. You can get a full plate of rice and a side of whatever meat and veggies you want for 5 bucks! Are you kidding me? Apparently they aren't. Our meal was so cheap and not to mention pretty good. The food comes out quick too, which is a big plus since we were starving!

I am not a huge fan of Malaysian Cuisine, but Nyonya pleasantly surprised me. Food was really good and reasonably priced. Service could improve a notch and they are cash only.

    Big Wong King Restaurant

    3 reviews

Big Wong King is Cantonese food at its finest. Located in the heart of Chinatown, I had the wonton noodles with pork. The noodles were fresh, the pork was sweet, and the wonton was filled with delicious morsels of pork and shrimp. The roasted duck tasted succulent as well. The prices are also affordable. As I recall, most dishes cost ...

The food, atmosphere and service at daMikele are all fantastic. This is a very friendly restaurant and it isn't too crowded. Everything we have tasted is excellent; however, the pizzas and bread really stand out. Give the campana a try!

One of the few celebrity chef places that lives up to its reputation. Excellent American food served in a simple but elegant white table cloth setting. Tom Colicchio delivers pretty consistently and Craft Bar is no exception.

    Tasty Hand-pulled Noodles Inc

    1 review

After a visit from Guy Fieri, I had to check it out myself. Although the place itself is a total dive, the food is AMAZING. The hand pulled noodles really are tasty - soft and chewy in all the right ways. The dofu is really fresh. The roast duck was a little cold but still delicious. Ate until I was ...

    Juice Generation

    1 review

I haven't run into many juice bars as there aren't many around my city, but boy was I pleased to find one in NYC. This spot has juice mixtures that taste good, despite being packed with vegetables and fruits you may think are not complimentary. I loved the detox juice and the peanut butter smoothie.

    Manhattan Chili Company

This is a great place to go for a hearty meal at a reasonable cost in NYC. They have many different types of chili and they are not all spicy. We like the variety plate where you get more than one type. Great location near Times Square.
