One of thee most outstanding hotels on Broadway! The two best attributes of the Marriott Marquis are the awesome view of the vibrant lights in Time Square and the rotating restaurant on the top of the hotel.

There are countless options of where to see the New York skyline, but none other that I know of like the View, the restaurant located on the top floor at the New York Marriott Marquis. It's the city's only revolving restaurant, guaranteed to give any of your guests a surreal experience. During the course of an hour, over drinks or dinner, you can see all the angles of the city, without moving an inch. Getting on the see-through elevator is a thrill in itself, resembling the exhilarating feel of a gentler roller coaster.

Smack dab in the middle of Times Square the New York Marriott Marquis is practically at the center of the universe! Scraping the sky, as the buildings do in Manhattan, the Marquis is both hard to miss and absolutely worth seeing, even if you are not planning on staying there.
My earliest memories of the Marriott in Times Square were as a young girl. I used to ask my parents to go to the building with the big elevators! A main feature of the hotel is the pill shaped elevators, made mostly of glass, shoot up through the open atrium in the center of the building. If you are lucky you can catch one that goes from the bottom floors straight up to the top! And at the top is The View, famous for being NYC's first rotating restaurant. The whole thing is very impressive at any age!
I dreamed one day that I would get to stay there and after many years of wishing I finally got my chance. It was everything I hoped it would be and more! The rooms were perfect, expertly done. The service top notch and the views both from the indoor balconies and out into the city could not be beat! I also had an opportunity to see an award winning Broadway show right inside the hotel!
Incredibly magical and utterly impressive!Recommended for

If you can afford a hotel in the heart of Times Square, the Marriot Marquis is the place to stay. It is centrally located in the Theater District right across from all the shopping. As an added bonus, there's a Junior's right across the street ( BEST cheesecake ever!).
The rooms were spacious. We fit 5 girls and 1 lucky guy in there without any problems. There was a box office right outside the hotel and you could buy show tickets very conveniently. Highly recommend this hotel!!!

I really like the new elevator queue solution. Punch your floor in, and you're directed to the elevator that will get you there fastest. Saves lots of time when going back and forth from a meeting, for example. Location can't be beat for upscale and downscale dining within walking distance.Recommended for

Great hotel located in the heart of Times Square. The rooms and elevators were updated a few years ago bringing this hotel from a dated hotel with slow elevators to a first class hotel. The rooms are spacious and you will get great views of the city.
Just like the Renaissance hotel it is close to all mass transit. Below the hotel there is actually a theater. This hotel is a perfect place to stay if you are catching a show and dinner and don't want to walk too far or take a cab.

A mammoth conference hotel in midtown. Let's start with the fact that I really detest large hotels such as this. The rooms are fine. The fitness area is fairly basic and uninspiring. The room service takes a long time. There is no charm. But, it's located in midtown which is central for business and tourist attractions.Recommended for
