One of thee most outstanding hotels on Broadway! The two best attributes of the Marriott Marquis are the awesome view of the vibrant lights in Time Square and the rotating restaurant on the top of the hotel.

Smack dab in the middle of Times Square the New York Marriott Marquis is practically at the center of the universe! Scraping the sky, as the buildings do in Manhattan, the Marquis is both hard to miss and absolutely worth seeing, even if you are not planning on staying there.

My earliest memories of the Marriott in Times Square were as a young girl. I used to ask my parents to go to the building with the big elevators! A main feature of the hotel is the pill shaped elevators, made mostly of glass, shoot up through the open atrium in the center of the building. If you are lucky you can catch one that goes from the bottom floors straight up to the top! And at the top is The View, famous for being NYC's first rotating restaurant. The whole thing is very impressive at any age!

I dreamed one day that I would get to stay there and after many years of wishing I finally got my chance. It was everything I hoped it would be and more! The rooms were perfect, expertly done. The service top notch and the views both from the indoor balconies and out into the city could not be beat! I also had an opportunity to see an award winning Broadway show right inside the hotel!

    Incredibly magical and utterly impressive!

I really like the new elevator queue solution. Punch your floor in, and you're directed to the elevator that will get you there fastest. Saves lots of time when going back and forth from a meeting, for example. Location can't be beat for upscale and downscale dining within walking distance.

Good location right on Broadway. This is a cool place for a first visit in New York because once you know the city you want to stay far away from this crowd.

Are you looking for a large, busy, full service chain hotel in New York's Theater District? Then, this is the place for you! Shops, restaurants, private event rooms, and even a Broadway theater are all here under one roof. Walk out the front door and you are in the middle of all the action of Broadway and Times Squire. The rooms are large, modern, and comfortable. The only drawback is that, because the hotel is so large and the setting for many large private functions and meetings, sometimes you have to wait patiently for an elevator.

There are countless options of where to see the New York skyline, but none other that I know of like the View, the restaurant located on the top floor at the New York Marriott Marquis. It's the city's only revolving restaurant, guaranteed to give any of your guests a surreal experience. During the course of an hour, over drinks or dinner, you can see all the angles of the city, without moving an inch. Getting on the see-through elevator is a thrill in itself, resembling the exhilarating feel of a gentler roller coaster.

If you can afford a hotel in the heart of Times Square, the Marriot Marquis is the place to stay. It is centrally located in the Theater District right across from all the shopping. As an added bonus, there's a Junior's right across the street ( BEST cheesecake ever!).

The rooms were spacious. We fit 5 girls and 1 lucky guy in there without any problems. There was a box office right outside the hotel and you could buy show tickets very conveniently. Highly recommend this hotel!!!

Great hotel located in the heart of Times Square. The rooms and elevators were updated a few years ago bringing this hotel from a dated hotel with slow elevators to a first class hotel. The rooms are spacious and you will get great views of the city.

Just like the Renaissance hotel it is close to all mass transit. Below the hotel there is actually a theater. This hotel is a perfect place to stay if you are catching a show and dinner and don't want to walk too far or take a cab.

My favorite hotel in NYC. It's expensive but I got a Times Square facing room and was in heaven! The gym and restaurant are really nice. Lounge is also nice.

It was a pain to switch elevators to get to certain places.

A mammoth conference hotel in midtown. Let's start with the fact that I really detest large hotels such as this. The rooms are fine. The fitness area is fairly basic and uninspiring. The room service takes a long time. There is no charm. But, it's located in midtown which is central for business and tourist attractions.

We have stayed here because of the Marathon. Would not have picked the hotel myself (a huge!) but was impressed by the service and atmosphere. (It was booked as part of marathonn-package deal.) Even if you are not staying here, just walk in and take the - wow - elevator up to the top, quite an experience. The only thing 'not perfect' where some breakfast trays scattered in the hallways in the mornings, but for the rest it is what you pay for and very, very central.

The elevators in this hotel are CRAZY! Nice hotel, right in the heart of Times Square. If you want a more mellow NYC experience, stay somewhere else.

The New York Marriott Marquis is in the heart of New York City: Times Square. As a tourist, you couldn't find a more convenient location. The lobby is big and beautiful, and the rooms are reliable. Lots of people all around!

Stayed here my first trip to New York. Great choice for that - in the middle of the Theater district, right next to the half-price ticket booth, easy to get to subways and taxis.

But this place is swarming with people, so be prepared.

Popular with both business meetings and tourists alike, this Marriott is in the heart of Times Square. Right in the hustle, bustle and crowds of the times square. It is right amongst all the theaters for Broadway plays, lots of chain restaurants, souvenir shops, and tons and tons of street hawkers. It is a short walk over to Rockefeller Center from here as well.

My favorite part of this hotel is the glass elevators in the middle of the hotel. I love going to the 45th floor and getting a direct ride down to 1. Best part is going through the floor. Aaah, the little things.
