No amazing treatment for me, but I still had a great time at NYNY. Booked for the weekend of 4th of July during their 20% off sale awhile back. Room was decent sized with a view of the roller coaster. Bathroom is a little hard to manage with 4 people. Would have liked to see the sink OUTside of the toilet/shower. Housekeeping was super nice - although we didn't request their service during our stay, when they saw us in the hallway they offered supplies of shampoo, soap and towels!
Additional facilities at the gym/spa was AMAZING. I'm not really talking about the equipment, although they had a nice variety for bulking and toning, I'm talking about their facilities for when you're done exercising! The girls side had the sauna, showers, etc (there were some tubs, but it all had reserved signs). The sinks had a variety of make up removers, hair ties, face scrub, face wash, everything I was afraid to bring on the plane I found here. My bf told me they have a full on Jacuzzi on the mens side.
The main highlight of NYNY was the awesome awesome waitress at the penny slots near Rok. Her name is Won, Yes as in winning! She was amazing at making the rounds super fast and ensuring that we always had a heavily dosed drink (or two) in hand. Tip her well and she'll take care of you!
Restaurants at the NYNY are also quite yummy. We especially enjoyed the Nine Fine Irishmen for their lamb burger special at the time and the Guinness chocolate float! Il Fornaio was a decent place to grab breakfast, especially since during our stay we could get 2 for 1 entrees.
The rollercoaster was fun! Helps that they also had a 2 for 1 deal going on.
Check out was easy, even at our midnight leaving time. Called and left a message. Then called the receptionist for the airport shuttle. Forgot the name of the company, but they sent a limo! What a way to end Vegas!
So overall, had a fabulous time staying at the NYNY. Would not hesitate to stay here again. But the bf wants to explore the other hotels for our next trip to Vegas!Recommended for:

Awesome Hotel, on the outside everything really looks like NYC, inside it's nice to walk through. Highlight: The New York Roller Coaster: so much fun! A must do ;)Recommended for:

This is one of my favorites, however lots of kids in this place. Vegas isn't the best place for kids, folks. It's great going the day after Labor Day and there are no lines for the roller coaster.Recommended for:

I like the architecture...it's like you're in Gotham City! I stayed in a two-bed room and it was ok, not super luxurious or anything. But then again, when I'm in Vegas, my room is just to sleep in and keep my stuff haha. There's lots to do on the strip--eat, party, etc!
The roller coaster--I didn't have to pay for it when I went, but it's $14 for one ride! I recommend going at night when you can see the city lights :)Recommended for:

New York, New York is the (obviously) New York themed hotel and resort on the Vegas Strip. It is located down near the Excalibur and features a faux NYC skyline as well as a rollercoaster than runs through the facade. It's interesting to visit, but not really very "New York-y."Recommended for:

Towards the south end of the strip, this hotel is a minature representation of New York City, inside and out. On the casino floor there are plenty of gambling opportunities, and New York style eateries including hot dog stands and pizzarias. Cirque du Soleil's Zumanity is currenly playing at the hotel, and while it's not suitable for kids, that's OK because the large arcade and Coney Island style games on the 2nd floor will keep them busy while the adults are watching the show. The rooms are nice, but if you are a coffee drinker, don't expect to find a coffee maker in your room...sorry. Fortunately the daily $15 resort fee includes wi-fi and gym access.Recommended for:

I can't speak for the hotel but the casino has a decent selection, but the crowd can get a bit rambunctious. There isn't a big variety in restaurants like other hotels on the strip. I hit it big on the slots here and the free drinks were quite strong.

Fun casino and hotel on the strip of Vegas. An interesting theme that got old fast for me. An authentic New York style restaurant is just an excuse to have horribly made cheap food at an overpriced cost with poor cleanliness. They really hit the nail on the head with that :P
The ride at the top was pretty cool I must say. It was a bit short but you got a decent view of the strip.

I stayed here once in the past because of a deal. The rooms are okay but the hotel itself feels a little on the grungy side. Saw zumanity here, which wasn't the best cirque show but still good. The Irish bar is fun and they have gallager's steakhouse here.

I really liked this hotel. very neat how the whole inside of the entier hotel looks like new york city buildings. What i didn't like is that this hotel smells particularly like smoke, more so than any other hotel, im not sure what thats about.

Great place to stay for all ages! Handicap rooms allow Hoyer lifts under the bed; Irish Pub, Nine Fine Irishmen, with fun staff, great food and wonderful live music is not to be missed! Used the bridge to the MGM to see one of my favorite concerts. Eooms were good and very clean, the pool was fun. Shops and entertainment surround the area, Arcade area by the roller-coaster! Food for most budjets and tastes. Easy to enjoy.

Stayed on 33rd floor and oh what a view. Pool downstairs is free for visitors and they give you towels. Nice, not to many kids and they have a small hot tub that we enjoyed too. The food court is the best on the strip and skip the roller coaster. There is more than enough to do without wasting $20. The clubs inside are excellent too. They have misters outside.

This a fun and convenient place to stay in. How they did the theme of New York through the hotel is really great. There is a good choice of bars and restaurants to choose from if you don't want to go far. The location is also good and there is a tram connecting it to other hotels. The rooms are standard but nice. We stayed in a suite at one point and it was okay. This is overall a fun hotel with a good price. I just wish they had better nightclubs.
