The bests steak dinner ever! I cannot recommend Lone Star in Queenstown to everyone enough. There was a Lone Star chain in Melbourne but they closed down so many years ago, so I was glad to finally experience Lone Star once again. I had a craving for buffalo wings so we went there one night and was impress by the ...Popular with

We topped off our tour with dinner at Speight's Ale House which serves tasty South Island cuisine accompanied by Speights beer that's been brewed on the premises. I ordered the Blue 'n Gold, a Speights beer battered blue cod served with "golden" chips (i.e., fries).
- 27124 Ocean View Road Oneroa, Waiheke Island Auckland, New Zealand2 reviews
The Oyster Inn is a cute and modern Hamptons-esque styled restaurant. It was great to have cold drinks there after a long walk along the Oneroa beach, we sat in the verandah with a view of the Ocean and watching the activities on the main village street. The staff were very friendly and efficient.
- 28182 Cuba Street, Te Aro 6011, New Zealand1 review
Situated on Cuba Street the hippest street in Wellington (and maybe all of NZ) is this uber-cool Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is a cozy, candle-lit labyrinthine of little rooms and catwalks. The food is positively scrummy with the fajitas a fan favourite.Popular with
- 3023 Britomart Place, Auckland, New Zealand2 reviews
Mexico restaurant is a tapas style restaurant where you can gorge yourself in yummy soft shell tacos, fried chicken, prawn quesadillas, sangria and the tamarind Margarita and everything wonderfully Mexican. The decor and style is reminiscent of Melbourne's Mamasita crossed with A Thousand Pound Bend. Please be weary, especially if you are hungry on a busy Saturday night that no ...

If you like meat, this is your place. Vegetables are for sissies - it's all meat all the time. Steaks the size of novels, ribs that would make Fred Flintstone quiver and slabs of chicken(s) that look like the start of an eating contest. if this sounds good - then you'll love it.Popular with

This hole in the wall take-a-way shop has some of the best healthy food around. Whether it's a kebab filled with fresh lamb or a salad bursting with karmic goodness you'll struggle to go wrong. And no, fries don't come with that.Popular with
- 352 Leonard Isitt Drive, Auckland Airport 2022, New Zealand2 reviews
A nice outdoor patio, vast drink menu, and unique experience near the Auckland Airport make this place pretty cool. On the drink menu there are the usual drinks as well as the New Zealand favorites. In the bathroom you can read the day's paper while you do your business, and on the menu there are a fusion of western and ...
- 3618 Camp Street, Queenstown, New Zealand1 review
Giant, deliciously fresh, homemade cookies of all flavors - best served with a glass of cold milk. Being on the road for so long, I found particular enjoyment in these; they add a wonderful touch of home comfort when you're traveling. My favorite was the peanut butter chunk chocolate chip. To DIE for.Popular with
- 38Viaduct Harbour Avenue, Auckland, New Zealand2 reviews
Fabulous dining on the Viaduct (Marina). Perfect views, best service in Auckland, farm fresh food and to die for wines. No wonder this place often gets political, sports and entertainment luminaries (as well as the world's best winemakers) to drop in for a drink or meal. A pretty penny but worth the splurge if there is a reason to celebrate ...Popular with

Beautiful cozy place (white of course!) with fabulous mediterranian inspired food, they try to do everything local so it was really fresh and tasty. Great wine list. Nice patio weather permitting or cozy up with the fire inside. Staff was friendly and helpful. We met several couples who had made this place a destination, we would definitely go back. Hubby ...
