Next to New is in a small white house on Kelly Ave, just off of Highway One. Every corner is full of used clothes, housewares, books, jewelry and collectibles. The place is tidy and everything is well-cared for. I like to start in the rear of the store, stepping outside into a shelf-lined metal container to look at books, furniture, and picture frames. Then I head back inside to check the men’s clothes, house wares, shoes, and women’s fashions. I can usually find something useful or special. My favorite find of all time was a Sabatier carbon-steel blade paring knife for $1.00. I also picked up a silk Nieman Marcus nightgown for $7. But why am I telling you this? You’re the one who is going to beat me to the next bargain. But it’s all good, since what you spend helps support services for seniors and adults with disabilities.Recommended for:Budget Travelers
