    Buffalo Zoo

    9 reviews

This is a nice, but very small zoo. If you've been to the Milwaukee zoo it may be disappointing to go here. The positives are: * it doesn't take a full day to see the zoo * you can see everything in one visit * the giraffe exhibit was fun and kids and feed the giraffes at given times.

    First Niagara Center

    3 reviews

The First Niagara Center is the relatively new stadium where the Sabres play. The seats are nice and there are a lot of food options. They could use more parking and better routes out of the neighborhood, but that's not really their fault.

    Guinness World Of Records Museum

    4 reviews

The Guinness Museum is one of the Niagara Falls' most interesting attractions-other than the Falls. Out front there's a life size statue of Robert Wadlow, the tallest man who ever lived. You can curl up in his chair for an interesting photo op.

    Reif Estate Winery

    2 reviews

Wine tasting is a nice alternative activity to hiking around the falls and enjoying the scenic walk/ride to Niagara-on-the-Lake. All Reif wines won't be to your taste, but I would be surprised if you don't like several. Try out the Ice Wine, a dessert wine made from grapes that were frozen while still on the vine.

Interesting winery, that makes wine out of almost anything but grapes. The apricot ice wine was especially worth bringing back to the UK.

    Niagara Power Vista Grounds

    2 reviews

This a very impressive look at the power of the Niagara River. The site is not to far from Niagara Falls on the river gorge. They have interactive displays and stuff to keep even kids busy. Very informative concerning the role that hydroelectricity played in the area.

A great place for walking around to see the shops and eat at the restaurants. They have a great festival here each year that is not to be missed. Come early to get a good parking space.
