    Niagara Falls

    162 reviews

Niagara Falls lives up to the hype and, like the Grand Canyon, you should make the effort to see it once. There are really three falls: the American Falls, Horseshoe Falls and the much smaller Bridal Veil. You should check out the falls from both sides of the border though the Canadian side offers more to do.

    Maid of the Mist

    93 reviews

The various incarnations of the Maid of the Mist have been taking passengers as close to the falls as they dare to go. I've taken the gondola over the whirlpool but not the Maid of the Mist. My parents recently took one of the jet boats that get really close.

    Journey Behind The Falls

You take an elevator and then are left in tunnels behind the falls. You are given some thin plastic hoodies to wear so you don't get that wet.

    Floral Clock

Every time I visit Niagara Falls, I make a point of visiting the floral clock. It is such a scenic and relaxing place to visit. If you are short on time it is something you can see without needing a lot of time. Beautiful and always different depending on what time of year you visit.

There isn't a man, woman or child who can say 'no thanks' to a round of mini golf. Even better, adding Dinosaurs! While visiting the Falls, take the time and spend a little to play a round. Not only will the little ones be entertained, us adults can be as competitive or silly as we like. Everyone ends up finishing ...

    Guinness World Of Records Museum

    4 reviews

The Guinness Museum is one of the Niagara Falls' most interesting attractions-other than the Falls. Out front there's a life size statue of Robert Wadlow, the tallest man who ever lived. You can curl up in his chair for an interesting photo op.

    Reif Estate Winery

    2 reviews

Wine tasting is a nice alternative activity to hiking around the falls and enjoying the scenic walk/ride to Niagara-on-the-Lake. All Reif wines won't be to your taste, but I would be surprised if you don't like several. Try out the Ice Wine, a dessert wine made from grapes that were frozen while still on the vine.
