Amy Sacco. 'Nuff said. (For the uninitiated: this is the NYC's nightlife queen, owner of the legendary Bungalow 8 and Lot 61.)

The High Line is a beautiful and unusual way to see NYC. It once was a New York Subway line that has been turned into a park and walking area complete with art installations and gardens. It's nice to see parts of the city from above the sidewalk too!

The Meatpacking District used to be just that, but now it has been taken over by hipsters and the like. The old buildings are still there, and some of the streets have the old cobbles. High Line Park ends here and has some of the original tracks that moved the meat around.

The type of crowd it attracts leaves something to be desired. The cocktails are good if you don't like beer. The only reason I come back is for the photo booth by the restrooms.

This rooftop bar has both indoors and outdoors sections, rooms for lounging and a room for club style dance floor. It is a trendy and cool crowd visiting the meatpacking district. Particularly great for a summer visit with a view of NY roof tops.

Provacateur is a pretty well established club in New York City. Girls must look like models to get in, guys must bring their cash. It's in Meatpacking, so I'll leave it at that.

Primarily a commercial production space but hosts some of the better events and exhibitions in the city. Very popular with the fashion set. The gallery space itself isn't particularly large and is only as impressive as the exhibition or crowd that it draws.

No doubt, Avenue is happening. The place is packed after midnight even on a weekday. NJ girls dancing on furniture. Champagne bottles with sparklers. Super cool underground bar around the corner from Bunker, another fun underground bar in the Meatpacking. Love all the different rooms you can hang out in. It feels like you're in someone's house. You can play pool, foosball and board games as well. Fun spot to dance too!

Tenjune was previously one of the top clubs in meatpacking, typically always a good time here. However, there was an incident there that involved the death of an underaged girl (was all over the news). Since then Tenjune has never really been the same and quite a few DJs refuse to play there. It has really been going downhill, I ...

Highline is a great venue; we came here and got a table. The dance is alright however people can get pushy in it. We hung back at our table most of the time (this is really the way to go), so I can’t really comment on the bar situation either. We all had a great time here; definitely stop by ...
