I stayed in a private en suite room with my boyfriend at the time. It was nice and clean. The staff was nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in Wellington! Please note, we came as a couple and stayed in a private en suite room. The common area was rather small so I'm not sure how it would ...

I was only in Wellington for a short stay but it quickly became one of my favorite cities. It is culture and laid back and also incredibly beautiful! On the water front with rocky hills all around. It's nice to take a walk down by the water and look back at the city as it rises into the hills.

What I loved most about the gardens would have to be their location! The gardens themselves were beautiful but what really made them memorable was the cable car ride up to them! And at the top you can look out over the entire city! Wonderful experience!

Wellington's famous red cable car. It takes you from the city up to the botanic gardens. From the top you can see a fantastic view of the city! The cable car ride was definitely memorable!

Pulsing with a youthful vibe Cuba Street is the place to be in Wellington. It offers a delightful blend of New Zealand charm and beauty with hip local culture, music and performers. It's a nice place to just stroll up and down checking out the shops and grabbing a bite to eat.

Wellington is so hip and laid back it's easy to forget that it is also the capital city! Even the houses of parliament are not your average looking government building.

There is something a bit rugged and grungy about Wellington that I really liked. Places like Slow Boat Records really just added to the cities youthful and hip appeal. They had more records in the shop than I've seen anywhere in quite sometime. Nice place to stop in and get the local feel.

One of the best wildlife sanctuaries I've ever visited. Massive yet not far at all from the city centre. You can spend an entire day here exploring if you wish.
